Misunderstood - Bon Jovi
Hi, everyone! How are you all doing?
Today, I want to share this Bon Jovi's song with you.
In this song, we have three examples of MODAL VERBS - Should, could and would.
What are they doing in the song? Which idea do they give?
Everyone who answers this question here (different answers, ok? If your opinion is the same as your colleague's, paraphrase it.) will receive a surPRIZE next class. (01/09)
Best regards!
See you.

Calvin & Hobbes
Hey people ^^
You can read more about Calvin&Hobbes here on a website and find more comics in a fanpage here on facebook.
And you? Do you like comics? Which of them?
See ya ;]
I'll tell to you a little about one of my favorites hobbies: comics. For now, "Calvin and Hobbes":
"Calvin and Hobbes is a syndicated daily comic strip that was written and illustrated by American cartoonist Bill Watterson, and syndicated from November 18, 1985, to December 31, 1995. It follows the humorous antics of Calvin, a precocious and adventurous six-year-old boy, and Hobbes, his sardonic stuffed tiger. The pair are named after John Calvin, a 16th-century French Reformationtheologian, and Thomas Hobbes, a 17th-century English political philosopher. At the height of its popularity, Calvin and Hobbeswas featured in over 2,400 newspapers worldwide; as of January 2010, reruns of the strip still appear in more than 50 countries. Nearly 45 million copies of the 18 Calvin and Hobbes books have been sold."

The Forbidden Divination
Hi guys, what's up? Marcos here. I didn't receive my e-mail yet, so I'm going to use my brother's account to write this post.
Anyway, in this post I want to recommend you a short comic about fortune telling.
THE FORBIDDEN DIVINATION
(Story & Art by Shinobu Kaitani)
The comic, divided in 2 parts, presents us the adventures of an odd fortune-teller and a businesswoman, who is searching for Asuka Kiryu, the one with the ability to tell anyone's fortune just by looking at them.
(PS: The reading direction is from the left to the right)
The story, despite being short, is very interesting. I don't want to give you any spoilers so I'm just going to leave the link for reading online here.
We love you - Iran and Israel
This is a short video about the war between Iran and Israel, in
English. It is very cool because it is very easy to understand what the
man says, and if you can not, there are the subtitles.
Has anybody seen any campaign like this? Do you think it works? Why?

Hey you!
Since we saw some prepositions in our last class (08/11), I'm posting a very interesting website for you to have some fun doing these exercises on preposition.
http://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/grammar/prepositions
Prepositions are not monsters! Once you get used to them, their use will become natural to you.
So, why don't you give these little guys a chance? =)
Do the exercises and tell me how you went!
